Solutions should be process stable, both internally and externally, while ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.Today, Griffith Foods Europe has a vacancy for a talented Food Technologist to join our savoury snack team, based in Valls (Spain).Responsibilities:Support the R&D activities that contribute to the growth of our product range and customer base.Support the development of new products for our targeted customers.Act as the technical contact for our snack customers in Continental Europe.Develop presentations, organize and execute workshops, and train customers on our products in applications and marketable formats, in cooperation with sales and marketing.Create innovative seasoning and coating systems for snack substrates (e.G., chips, tortillas, coated nuts, rice cakes, extruded snacks, crackers).Actively seek innovative raw materials and systems.Conduct raw material evaluations.Requirements:Master/Bachelor in Food Science or Food Technology or equivalent by proven experience.Relevant and proven experience within the food industry.Language skills: fluent in English; Spanish or Dutch is valuable.Project Management skills.Experience in development and application of seasonings is a plus.Passionate about food and customer focus.Strong team player, able to work independently on product development projects.Self-confident and enthusiastic in presenting product concepts to customers.Creative, hands-on, accurate, and well-organized.Flexible and willing to travel within Europe to support our customers.Working at Griffith Foods:We are a caring family company where everyone has the opportunity to grow, follow their own personal purpose, and find fulfillment in their work.
