The purpose of the role Work autonomously to maintain and grow the business via the development of profitable, delicious, nutritious, and sustainable products and solutions for selected customers. Solutions should ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities: Support R&D activities contributing to the growth of our product range and customer base. Act as the technical contact for snack customers in Continental Europe. Develop presentations, organize and execute workshops, and train customers on our products in applications and marketable formats, in cooperation with sales and marketing. Create innovative seasoning and coating systems for snack substrates (e.g., chips, tortillas, coated nuts, rice cakes, extruded snacks, crackers). Actively seek innovative raw materials and systems. Conduct raw material evaluations. Requirements: Master's/Bachelor's in Food Science or Food Technology or equivalent proven experience. Relevant and proven experience within the food industry. Fluent in English; Spanish or Dutch is a plus. Project management skills. Experience in the development and application of seasonings is a plus. Passionate about food and customer-focused. Strong team player and able to work independently on product development projects. Self-confident and enthusiastic in presenting product concepts to customers. Creative, hands-on, accurate, and well-organized. Flexible and willing to travel within Europe to support our customers.
