Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship: Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients, focused on securitisation vehicles / Capital markets transactions (the "SPV").
Build and develop relationships with existing clients.
Be the first contact for clients' and investors' requests.
Coordinate with internal and external providers on the full life cycle of the SPV.
Team Work: Contributing to the development of the team through open communication and mentoring of junior colleagues.
Effective collaboration and reporting to team manager(s) and directors.
Liaison with other internal teams and divisions as required.
Assist with client billing and debtor collection.
Ensure good operational practice with adherence to internal processes and checklists.
Accounting: Understanding complex securitisation structures (the "SPVs") and accounting in particular for different types of securitisation transactions.
Maintaining general ledgers and timelines for a portfolio of allocated clients.
Timely and accurate processing / reconciling of all SPVs transactions.
Guiding junior staff members on preparation of accounts and other tasks.
Coordinate with the allocated team assigned KPIs.
Coordinate with clients and auditors on a regular basis.
Prepare validate financial statements (including multi-compartment vehicles) / NAV calculations.
Monitor and exercise the ongoing reporting process (e.g.
investor, client, and regulatory reporting).
Liquidity Management including invoice processing / coordination, monitoring of capital movements, etc.
Knowledge of interest calculation under a waterfall and priority of payments.
Familiar with capital call and drawdown procedures.
Participate in ad hoc projects.
Other Compliance: Setup and monitor the SPVs reporting (regulatory and client reporting) / corporate calendar / KPIs.
Ensure compliance with tax and legal obligations in relation to the given advice of the Legal and tax service providers.
Ensure the compliance of the contractual obligations of the SPV (prospectus, articles of incorporations, subscription agreements, etc.).
Skills / Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
1-3 years of experience in the financial / capital market industry.
Good knowledge of securitisation structures / transactions.
Strong accounting knowledge of SPVs (Lux GAAP / IFRS advantage).
ACCA would be an advantage or working towards the qualification.
Knowledge of Luxembourg Securitisation Law would be an advantage.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of accounting platform Allvue would be an advantage.
Fluent in English is mandatory.
Spanish/French or German would be an advantage.
