We are now looking for a skilled and passionate Product Development Engineer to join our international product development team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and improving product solutions for the entire international company.
Your tasks will include concept design, industrial design, material selection, and technical development.
You will work closely with our international product development team, sales, and production to ensure that the products are innovative, high-quality, and meet customer needs and market requirements.
As a Product Development Engineer, you take responsibility and manage projects of all sizes with a proactive attitude, ensuring they are successfully completed from start to finish.Your home office is located in our production site, Antequera (Malaga), with a flexible hybrid work model and occasional travel to customer sites and our headquarters in Finland.Key Responsibilities Concept design and development of new productsImplementation of industrial design and product designSelection and testing of materialsDevelopment and optimization of technical solutionsDesign and manufacturing of prototypesCollaboration with production, marketing, and sales teams in product development and launchesExpectations and Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, industrial design, or materials scienceAt least 5 years of experience in product development or similar rolesStrong experience in industrial design, material selection, and concept creationProficient in 3D design and PDM functionsExtensive technical expertise and understanding of the product development processExcellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinkingAbility to work independently and in a teamStrong communication skills in English and collaboration skills to cooperate with the international organizationAdditionally, we value:Experience in product structure configurationKnowledge of solar energyExperience in the residential construction fieldSolidWorks experienceAn innovative mindsetThe final job description will be defined based on the selected candidate.Why Join Us?
