If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Fluid Systems Engineer.Your Day-to-DayPerform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design and analysis for local and international projects developing multiple assignments within the Mechanical Fluid Systems discipline.Develop pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications.Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks that are assigned.Support more senior engineering personnel in various design and analysis efforts.Coordinate other disciplines (IC, electrical, civil structural, license) layout in different projects and design modifications.Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and management.Collaborate with construction, IC, electrical, and operations project teams with internal and/or external representation.Participate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings as needed to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs.Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements.Who You AreBachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear preferred).
Nuclear Engineering Master will be valued.Experience with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW is desirable.Experience with Microsoft Office Software Suite.Familiar with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFPA or API standards is preferable.Ability to travel to Westinghouse or Customer site (international travel included).Desired SkillsFluent in written and spoken in Spanish and English (minimum B2 or equivalent).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and teamwork oriented.Strong time management skills (Working to a deadline while balancing multiple tasks).Be able to resolve complex problems.Be detail oriented.Highly Motivated with a desire to learn and continually develop.
