KEY DIMENSIONS AND ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Scope Iberia: Spain (anchor) and Portugal (satellite); 42M sales in 2023
In strict alignment with the franchise strategy defined at global level and delivered as per Glocal model, the Flu Head will be responsible for:
Lead the franchise strategy in Spain and PortugalBe accountable for Franchise products P&LCollaborate with the Strategic Partnerships Lead in the execution of the strategy in the Spain regions, and with the Portugal Head and team in the execution in PortugalLead cross-functional internal and external engagement plans for the franchise, in coordination with Medical, Commercial, Market Access and Public AffairsBe the key contact of the Global Franchise for the MCO and support the definition of the global strategy and content by bringing the market insights to the global teamOwn the MCO brand plans, adapting the key features of the global strategy to the specificities of the market, allocating the resources and being accountable for the success of the local engagement strategy in the achievement of the MCO goals on the brand.Lead the business case preparation for any new launch or introduction within the brands and products in scope for the MCOBuild and animate the Brand Team in the definition of the brand plans, functioning as a pivot to ensure that everybody contributes to the success of the Brand activitiesROLE CHALLENGES IN 2024-2025 (Strategic Planning Period) Grow the position of Efluelda in Spain and Portugal, by expanding the population to which it is offeredAdopt digital transformation and Agile methodology (leveraging data and AI) to accelerate & scale-up new operating modelsSuccessfully adapt/evolve ways of working while delivering business results/avoiding business disruption.Champion glocal and transversal ways of working by fully leveraging centralized and standardized Sanofi frameworks (e.g., GTMC, MCO teams..)Ensure full alignment with MCO strategies, pricing and foster seamless collaboration with MCO teamsAbout you Experience:
Pharmaceutical Industry Understanding: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory environment, market dynamics and the needs and behaviors of healthcare professionals and patientsProduct Knowledge: Knowledge of product portfolio including the product's features, benefits, competitive landscape, and its place in the overall product portfolioCustomer-Centric Mindset: A deep understanding of healthcare professionals' and patients' needs and expectations, enabling the development of strategies and messages that resonate and deliver valueBrand Management: Extensive experience in brand management, ideally across various countries, with a proven track record in developing and executing successful brand strategies in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, particularly in a multi-country roleIndustry Expertise: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory environment, market dynamics, and the specific needs and behaviorsOmni-Channel Strategy Development: Demonstrated experience in crafting and implementing comprehensive omni-channel strategies, with a special emphasis on:
Digital Experience with Customer-Facing Approach: Proficiency in leveraging digital platforms and tools to enhance customer interaction and engagementGo-to-Market Exposure: Experience in integrating digital strategies within broader go-to-market plans, including product launches and market entry strategies, to ensure a cohesive and impactful introduction of the brand to new and existing marketsAnalytical and Strategic Planning: Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and insights into actionable strategies. This includes a deep understanding of how to leverage an integrated omni-channel approach for maximum impactData-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using data analytics to inform decision-making processes, especially in identifying and prioritizing customer segments for targeted marketing strategiesConceptual and Creative Thinking: Strong ability to employ conceptual thinking in identifying innovative solutions, and out-of-the-box thinking to challenge conventional wisdom and drive brand growthLeadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams and engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across different cultural and regulatory landscapes.
