Job Title: Flu Franchise Head Location: Barcelona, MadridFlex Work Policy ApplyJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeKEY DIMENSIONS AND ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Scope Iberia: Spain (anchor) and Portugal (satellite); 42M sales in 2023.
In strict alignment with the franchise strategy defined at the global level and delivered as per the Glocal model, the Flu Head will be responsible for:
Lead the franchise strategy in Spain and Portugal.Be accountable for Franchise products P&L.Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships Lead in the execution of the strategy in the Spain regions, and with the Portugal Head and team in the execution in Portugal.Lead cross-functional internal and external engagement plans for the franchise, in coordination with Medical, Commercial, Market Access, and Public Affairs.Be the key contact of the Global Franchise for the MCO and support the definition of the global strategy and content by bringing market insights to the global team.Own the MCO brand plans, adapting the key features of the global strategy to the specificities of the market, allocating resources, and being accountable for the success of the local engagement strategy in the achievement of the MCO goals on the brand.Lead the business case preparation for any new launch or introduction within the brands and products in scope for the MCO.Build and animate the Brand Team in the definition of the brand plans, functioning as a pivot to ensure that everybody contributes to the success of the Brand activities.ROLE CHALLENGES IN 2024-2025 (Strategic Planning Period) Grow the position of Efluelda in Spain and Portugal, by expanding the population to which it is offered.Adopt digital transformation and Agile methodology (leveraging data and AI) to accelerate & scale-up new operating models.Successfully adapt/evolve ways of working while delivering business results/avoiding business disruption.Champion glocal and transversal ways of working by fully leveraging centralized and standardized Sanofi frameworks (e.g., GTMC, MCO teams).Ensure full alignment with MCO strategies, pricing, and foster seamless collaboration with MCO teams.ABOUT YOU Experience: Pharmaceutical Industry Understanding: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory environment, market dynamics, and the needs and behaviors of healthcare professionals and patients.Product Knowledge: Knowledge of product portfolio including the product's features, benefits, competitive landscape, and its place in the overall product portfolio.Customer-Centric Mindset: A deep understanding of healthcare professionals' and patients' needs and expectations, enabling the development of strategies and messages that resonate and deliver value.Brand Management: Extensive experience in brand management, ideally across various countries, with a proven track record in developing and executing successful brand strategies in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, particularly in a multi-country role.Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory environment, market dynamics, and the specific needs and behaviors.Omni-Channel Strategy Development: Demonstrated experience in crafting and implementing comprehensive omni-channel strategies.Digital Experience with Customer-Facing Approach: Proficiency in leveraging digital platforms and tools to enhance customer interaction and engagement.Go-to-Market Exposure: Experience in integrating digital strategies within broader go-to-market plans, including product launches and market entry strategies.Analytical and Strategic Planning: Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and insights into actionable strategies.Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using data analytics to inform decision-making processes.Conceptual and Creative Thinking: Strong ability to employ conceptual thinking in identifying innovative solutions.Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams and engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Proficiency in adapting to rapidly changing market conditions and resolving complex issues.Ability and mindset to adapt to new ways of working such as Agile.Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in marketing.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish required; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial.
