Launched in 2020, we started by opening our first physical store in the heart of Madrid. The store is an 8 floor and 5.500 sqm building located at the city center in Gran Via, 18. Now we have made a strategic decision: to stay with the commercial artery of the capital by opening soon our second store, a 9 floor building located at Serrano 52.

Key Responsibilities The main responsibility of the Department Leader is assisting the store management team in the daily operation of the departments, while trying to maximize sales figures.
Drive and control sales in your department ensuring compliance with all goals. Motivate and optimize team morale and promote a positive working environment while ensuring that staff are fully aware of their responsibilities. Communicate and organize team goals to get the required results. Planning along with direction of daily plans for staff coverage, shift rotations, holiday planning, holiday returns, etc. Provide comprehensive training to staff in systems, processes and production. Ensure that the stock available in store and warehouse is sufficient at the point of sale and use available sources of information to ensure that the stock is exposed to sales by promoting sales successes. Ensure that VM standards are maintained in accordance with the manual itself. Ensure that the presentation of the department, labeling and alarm are consistent and conform to legal requirements and company policy. Implement the systems and procedures that the company provides to maintain operational levels. Ensure compliance with the company's return procedure and daily check-ups. Ensure that staff demonstrate excellent customer service standards at all times. In case of a client's complaint or query, react in a professional and polite manner, delegating the problem to management if necessary. Ensure the maintenance of all safety, health and environmental records and documentation within company guidelines and HR department. Ensure compliance with legislation related to the prevention of fire and protection of persons and property in the event of fire and raise any deficiencies in this matter that may occur in your plant to the management team. Ensure that staff are fully familiar and comply with occupational safety and health provisions. Be alert to any potential hazards in your departments. Ensure that department staff are fully aware and comply with company security policies. Responsible for securing all cash, stock and goods. Who you are A Department Leader should be a great team player to work with, this is a must! A passionate person about people, retail & sales. Outstanding communication skills that can help to build relationships and networks with other teams at WOW. Familiarized with different cultures and backgrounds. Proactivity to make things happen and initiative to propose new ideas. Overachieving mindset. Used to give feedback so the team and company can continue growing and improving. Experience and skills you bring At least + than 2 years successful experience in store management positions. Sales roles experience (if this has been in different countries, that would be awesome!).
