Job Purpose Flight Operations Oversight Engineer to execute flight operations computations, supervision, auditing and analysis. Main areas of expertise include flight operations supervision and KPIs analysis. As part of the flight ops transformation plan, I am responsible for managing project deadlines and coordinating tasks (E.g.: technical study to get accurate data of baggage weight to reduce payload limitations).
Main Accountabilities Analyze all processes and issues regarding flight operations assuring safety standards compliance & delivery deadlines fulfillment. These include: Analyze processes and incidences reported by crew members or other operations staff, identify root causes, and propose mitigating actions.Obtain KPIs to detect tendencies, weaknesses, and potential improvements within the flight operations area.Anticipate problems by analyzing all the available data to prevent possible impact on the flight operations.Maintain and improve current flight operations databases and dashboards available.Main Responsibilities - Tasks Drive internal and external audits, responding to the auditor's requests being able to provide the right balance of accuracy and guaranteeing the non-compliance resolution on time.Assess and respond to inquiries received from crew members assuring flight processes related to flight operations are clear and requests satisfied.Conduct post-implementation evaluation of all the projects and actions by identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.Communicate incidences to the focal points of different areas. Provide feedback to the Flight operations director on the status of the operations, actions taken, and relevant issues.Improve current tasks and move towards digitally integrated systems being able to remove manual analysis & integrate value and new capabilities into the day-to-day flight ops processes (both for engineers and for crews).Identify and develop new opportunities for our crews.
