Working in the Mission Management Team
The Mission Management team sits within the Operations team, the engine that drives the delivery of our space mission services. Connecting the technologies developed in-house by the Tech team, the requirements from our customers, and the tools and support of external key partners and suppliers are just some of the amazing things we are lucky to do.
What will you be doing?
As a Flight Operations Mission Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the deliverability of the missions and the operability of our satellites. You will manage the deliverability of our contracts once the satellites reach orbit and are in nominal operations. On one side, you will interact with the flight team to ensure the satellites are operationally focused to deliver the contracts. On the other side, you will have constant contact with the rest of the Mission Management team to ensure the mission objectives are being fulfilled and aligned with client expectations. Finally, if there are developments or any issues that require assistance from the Flight Software Team, you will coordinate that those updates get to orbit as soon as possible.
As a Flight Operations Mission Manager, you will also interact with our clients to report on the deliverability of the mission and manage any anomalies.
What you need to be successful

You'll have a strong understanding of space systems and operations.
You'll have some practical knowledge of project management and how it applies to space mission projects.
You'll be comfortable working in a small company with big ambitions and constrained resources.
You'll be a team player and an enabler, comfortably managing other people and external stakeholders.
You'll have the capacity to foresee events and issues and find efficient solutions that are aligned with the company values and vision.
You'll have client interaction, so clear communication and strategic vision are essential.
