We are a young, dynamic, and international team that enjoys working together to grow our company during this exciting time in the airline industry.If you feel inspired by our story and you're ready to take off with us, continue reading!We are hiring a Flight Dispatcher who has experience in interacting with different cultural environments and can work in a challenging high-growth atmosphere.Are you a skilled, positive, assertive, and sociable individual who enjoys working as part of a multicultural team?If your answer is yes, apply to come on board and make Volotea your next professional destination.What you will do:Work in a dynamic and challenging 24/7 position inside the OCC, responsible for the planning and monitoring of all Volotea flights.Analyse the operational environment of the flight through NOTAMs, Aeronautical publications, Aircraft Status, and Weather reports.Prepare the Operational Flight Plan according to the regulations, company policies, and the environmental conditions expected for the flight.File the associated plan with the appropriate Air Traffic Service Units.Update flight plans as required to cope with delays, diversions, MEL restrictions, and other abnormal operations.Flight monitor all airborne flights.Update and optimize the flight plans to reduce ATC delays and ensure the most cost-effective routings are being used.Coordinate with the crew for fuel, route, and aircraft performance requirements.Coordinate with airports for runway slots in case of operational changes.What you will need:Flight Dispatcher Training/License, Pilot License, Aeronautical Engineer degree, Airline Management degree or equivalent training/experience.Familiarity with aircraft performance, EASA regulations, operations manual (OM), flight entry requirements, flight planning, and dispatch procedures.Proactive personality with strong organizing skills, team-oriented, flexible, and able to provide solid results under high pressure.Good IT skills, including MS Office suite.Willingness to work in rotating shifts (24/7)
