Job Purpose Reporting directly to the Flight Dispatch Manager, their mission will be to follow the flights with AIMS and WSI Fusion, according to the existing and applicable legal guidelines.Main Responsibilities - Tasks Operational flight plans (OFP) development and check route, altitude, weight, airways locations, times, weather conditions, required fuel, etc. mistakes, according to OM. Flight Operations Assistant (FOA) provides support, assistance and acts as backing to the commander. The duty is on a non-shared system, it belongs only and exclusively to the commander. To verify the take-off/landing permits validity for the projected flight. To guarantee that each flight under his/her control is safely planned and according to all applicable Regulations. To take responsibility for ATC flight plan management. To verify adequate fuel load for scheduled flights, considering the relative fuel cost in each station, according to the information provided by Flight Ops Department. To take all necessary actions to guarantee a safe and punctual operation according to OM and operational procedures, in a profitable way. To monitor the meteorology and the publication of NOTAM as appropriate for the operation to reduce to the minimum the potential interruptions. Education Operations Technician or equivalent grade. Flight dispatching course. Competencies Proactive, teamwork and capability to work under pressure. Resolute, flexible and effective person. Ability to analyze with attention to detail and organized. Languages English B2 Spanish C1 Other Availability to work in morning/evening/night shifts. Basic knowledge of computers. Knowledge in SMS and Compliance Monitoring.
