You will have the opportunity to use the gamut of your skills on this team, bringing to the table art, design, flows, prototypes, leadership, and a whole lot of blowing stuff up.
The Principal User Experience Designer will assist the UX lead in developing the XD vision of our product and carrying out that vision.
This Principal role will work closely with the UX lead located in North America and will help ensure that the UX efforts in the Barcelona office are carried out with top-notch outcomes and are in line with the franchise leads' vision.
This role leads the effort in innovative and groundbreaking design solutions to create user-centered design solutions that promote ease of use, employ outstanding game/interaction design, and optimize the user experience universally in response to user testing.
Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with the product and design teams to conceptualize, define, and develop features that yield extraordinary experiences for our players.
Create user flows, interface wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation.
Create UI design/layouts.
Create high-fidelity mock-ups for pre-visualization during pre-production.
Create UI art and visual design for user interfaces.
Collaborate with the art team to define/adhere to a thematic art style.
Design (and create) functional animation for user interactions.
Prepare assets for implementation in the Unity game engine.
Be the owner of UX for multiple game feature pods.
Set examples, guides, and standard methodologies in UI/UX for others in your game team.
Participate in critiques, product reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor senior UI/UX staff.
Collaborate with UI/UX staff from other game teams to share findings and develop standard methodologies across the organization.
