The role of the Flavours Application Technician will be to provide technical support for the subsidiary's flavour business in Rubí (Barcelona) as part of an enthusiastic and talented department. Your main duties and responsibilities will be the following:
Technical WorkEvaluation of flavours and selection according to customer and/or project requirements.Application of flavours in different products.Formulation and development of recipes adapted to the client's needs.Sensory evaluation.Creation and maintenance of local collections.Internal and external trainings.Project ManagementManagement of reactive and proactive projects carried out by MANE in Spain. Understanding the client's needs and performing the technical work to respond to them.Monitoring of projects and, according to customer feedback, decision making in collaboration with the Sales and Technical Manager to establish next steps.Definition and planning of the work to be carried out in the laboratory.Supervision of the work carried out in case of delegation.Coordination of the technical work to be carried out either in the subsidiary or in collaboration with France (with the technical, legislation, marketing and sampling departments).Technical Support to the Commercial DepartmentTechnical consultations.Customer presentations: Preparation of the presentation and related documents (labels, tasting reports, etc.).Customer visits.Other TasksMaintenance and updating of the flavours library.Maintenance of the laboratories including equipment, stock of ingredients, management of the market products, management of the bases.Purchase of market products either for applications or for tasting.Preparation of sample shipments for customers or for other subsidiaries.Member of the sensory panel established for the evaluation of flavourings in meat products.Skills and QualificationsUniversity Degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent.Spanish and English spoken and written. Good level of French will be a plus.Previous experience in beverage products will be valued.Experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar position.Our OfferCompetitive compensation package according to the candidate's professional experience.
