Join our remote team as a Data Engineer and turn raw data into actionable predictions—all from wherever you work best!
Your Mission: Day to Day ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.Develop and optimize robust data storage solutions, including databases and data warehouses.Ensure high data quality and consistency across various sources.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support analytics, modeling, and forecasting initiatives.Integrate machine learning models, including forecasting models, into production workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, enhancing performance and reliability.Your Toolbox: Skills to be SuccessfulEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years in data engineering or a related role, with experience implementing machine learning forecasting models.
Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL and programming languages (Python, Java, or Scala).
Tools Technologies: Skilled with Hadoop, Spark, AWS Redshift, and other data management platforms.
Statistical Training: Background in statistics or relevant statistical training.
Knowledge Base: Familiar with data warehousing, database design, data modeling, and schema development.
