Job DescriptionJob Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity to join Mundipharma as the Cluster Medical Director for Southern Europe, responsible for Spain, Italy and France (Based in Spain).
You will be working with an interesting and varied portfolio of products across several disease areas in these three countries, including an exciting new anti-infective in severe disease which we will be launching in the near future.
This exciting opportunity will report directly to our VP, Global Head of Medical Affairs and will be a critical member of the Senior Medical Leadership Team, contributing to the development and implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy and ongoing transformation globally.
Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Leadership: Provide leadership for the local Medical department, ensuring a focus on talent development and building a high performance culture.Provide clinical support for all areas of Medical Affairs and the full portfolio of products.Provide Medical governance for the country ensuring our activities are in patients' best interest.Manage the in-country Medical budget.Ensure Global medical systems and process are embedded in the country/cluster.Collaborate with Global Medical teams to ensure the country/cluster data generation and medical communication needs are met through their activities.External Engagement: Build and maintain contacts with medical opinion leaders, external experts, institutions and medical societies.Lead on patient engagement activities, such as patient advocacy groups.Following alignment with communications team, act as a medical spokesperson for the company.Liaise with competitor companies to resolve any disputes regarding ours or their activities.
