We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Firmware Engineer to become an integral part of our team.
As a Firmware Engineer with B2Space, your role will be focused on designing, developing, and implementing embedded software solutions for our space systems.
You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our projects.
Responsibilities Conceive, create, code, evaluate, and debug firmware for our space systems.
Guarantee compliance with industry standards and the adoption of best practices in firmware development.
Conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting to promptly identify and resolve issues.
Stay up to date with the latest advances in embedded systems and firmware development techniques.
Qualifications A bachelor's degree or equivalent education in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science.
Demonstrable proficiency in embedded C/C++ development for 32-bit ARM microcontrollers (with STM32 family preferably).
Working knowledge of development tools, real-time operating systems, and algorithm implementation concepts.
Familiarity with development and test strategies, version control, and documentation processes.
Strong hands-on design, development, and debugging skills using in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Competence in interpreting electronic schematics and component datasheets.
Comfort working in both Linux and Windows environments.
Experience with wired and wireless communications stacks (USB, WIFI, LoRa, CAN, LIN, MQTT).
Device communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).
Embedded systems security (TLS, Encryption, Hash, etc.).
Real-Time OS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
Desired Skills Embedded Linux programming experience.
Control systems design experience using Matlab and Simulink Embedded Coder.
Knowledge of radio communications, antenna design, and link performance analysis.
