Based in Spain, this team is at the forefront of the discipline to design the mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) systems required for a safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly operation of buildings. We embrace world-class methodologies and technologies, including information-rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.As part of the continued growth of our team, we are looking to hire a Fire Protection & Risk Assessment Discipline Lead to be responsible for overseeing, guiding, and developing a team of ten engineers.The role will be well suited to an established Senior Consultant with demonstrable leadership skills who is looking to take the next step or someone with a desire to work in multi-disciplinary design consultancy and wants to join a well-respected and established fire safety consultancy. This position is based in our office in Madrid (Hybrid Remote Model), well located in the city center.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regularly communicating with them to understand their needs and expectations.Coordinate with multiple disciplines and cross-functional teams, acting as lead fire engineer to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule while managing the Fire discipline (Tunnel ventilation systems, PCI, risk analysis).Lead discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.Attend job site visits, project meetings, and commissioning activities as needed
