Who you are? We are seeking applicants for the position of Fire Assayer, who are excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers. You will be based at Malaga, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment to test minerals for precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
Some of your tasks will be:
Weigh samples for analysisFluxing, firing, knock-up and cupellation of samplesEnsure correct procedures are used and adhered toFollow QHSE procedureThis role has the potential to get exposure to other departments and mineral testing processes, including fire assay analysis, sample weighing and gold analysis.
