.At ING we are looking for a Financial Strategy SpecialistYour role and work environment:We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Financial Strategy Specialist to join our Strategic Planning & Customer Value Team, within the Management Accounting team in Finance.The Management Accounting team is in charge of driving the financial planning of the bank and supporting the organization towards our financial ambitions.Also, champions the strategy of the bank and cascades it into all teams while triggering strategic discussion and initiatives towards our long-term vision.The purpose of the Management Accounting team is to be the strategic financial partner to the organization (ExCo, Tribes, WB Front Office & Budget Owners) for driving the discussions towards the delivery of the strategy.Being the best team together, supporting each other towards continuous personal & professional development.Your key responsibilities:Being the finance partner to senior management on key aspects to deliver on our strategy.Contribute to the transformation of our operational model from two angles: customer value & efficiency.Understand customer dynamics and contribute to enhance customer value model for profitability decisions.Understand overall bank's expenses development & dynamics in the medium/long-term financial planning.Initiate and lead efficiency projects for supporting expenses management that create business impact.Translate analyses and business performance into concise and powerful presentations, strategy papers, and presentations.Results Publication (internal and external).Business Performance monitoring.Monthly reporting of business performance to ExCo, full control and analysis of the actual figures, understanding the external and internal income, expenses, risk costs, RWA, and balance sheet developments.Ad hoc analyses & research to support key strategic initiatives.Monitoring competition and sector development for understanding the insights of the banking industry and its main trends.What are we looking for?Want to know if this job is made for you? Problem-solving mindset.Proven Project planning & organizational skills.Well-developed cooperation and communication skills to be able to act as a linking pin and smoothly interact with all departments and colleagues involved.Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.
