This means that when we onboard a client, we need to perform a very important screening on the prospect and the transactions this client would like to do via us. And this is where you come in!
Role Purpose
The Screening Graduate is responsible for conducting the onboarding review in line with current policy to ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are fulfilled. They play a vital role together with the sales team in order to provide a smooth onboarding experience while making sure that our legal and compliance requirements are met.
Responsibilities: Reviewing and/or investigating matches against sanctions, PEPs, adverse media and internal lists in a timely fashion and processing as appropriateConducting real-time and retrospective rules-based monitoring on client transactions and processing alerts as appropriateResponding to Requests For Information on transactions from banking partnersResponding to queries from other internal departmentsComplete allocated tasks with focus, and in a timely mannerCommunicate the status of tasks to colleagues, supervisors and managers, and escalate problems swiftly, as neededAdhere to all internal policies, processes and procedures Requirements: Diligent, with good attention to detail and analytic mindProactive, with the ability to work within strict time-frames and under pressureWorking successfully in a target driven operational environmentGood communication skills, both written and verbalCo-operative, and comfortable working in a team environmentCurious and eager to learn, and actively asks questions to confirm understanding of processes and proceduresAdaptable, with the ability to cope with changing products, processes and proceduresMotivated, with a desire to make Ebury a successFluency in English, any other language is considered a real benefitAn understanding of AML principles is a plus.
