Financial Risk Manager

Financial Risk Manager (f/m/d) Workload: 100% Support Axpo Group by providing expert oversight in financial risk management.
As a primary contact for financial risk across the organization, you'll drive strategic risk initiatives and ensure consistency in risk management practices.
What you will do: Conduct comprehensive risk validation for key strategic deals Act as primary contact between Group Risk and front divisions for financial risk matters Define and assess stress-testing scenarios in collaboration with stakeholders Manage projects and support initiatives within Financial Risk & Modelling Lead the Market Risk sections of Board-level risk reports Support the Asset Liability Management framework What you bring & who you are: Academic background in quantitative, economics, or finance fields Minimum 6+ years experience in energy trading and a solid understanding of commodity markets Proficient in Market Risk models and strong project management skills Ability to simplify complex data for senior management Self-driven team player with strong prioritization skills Fluent in English; German skills are a plus About the team: Join a collaborative team dedicated to ensuring robust financial risk practices across Axpo.
