Your role - Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have know-how in financial accounting? Do you want to work in Finance within the Banking Industry? We're looking for someone like that to help us:
Support Daily run the bank activities in relation to the regulatory reporting to the Bank of Spain and the CNMV
Preparation of the Regulatory Reporting Bank of Spain for monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual reports
Preparation of the Regulatory Reporting of CNMV for bi-annual and annual reports
Analysis of the new regulations, assessment of their applicability to the entity and definition of the procedures, calculations, statements for the implementation of the relevant changes
Systematical analysis of products to ensure that they are recorded correctly in the bank's accounts and reported accurately
Preparation of all tax forms to be sent to the tax authorities
Calculation of CIT provisions for all entities and accounting entries
Preparation of annual CIT returns for UBS AG PE
Review of the annual CIT settlement of UBS Europe
Calculation of advance payments of CIT - UBS Group
Calculation of Pro-Rata UBS Europe
Review of and support with Transfer Pricing documentation
Interaction with local regulators
Your team - You'll be working in the Financial Reporting and Controlling team in Madrid. This team is covering primarily Investment Banking and Asset Management business for UBS Europe SE. Your expertise - You have:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the area of Regulatory reporting and Tax reporting
A degree in accounting or certified accountant
Strong regulatory skills and awareness of regulatory requirements
Profound knowledge of Tax reporting
In-depth knowledge of product range of a major internationally operating bank
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting requirements (IFRS and Local) and awareness of regulatory requirements
Strong skills in business intelligence tools, preferably Business Objects/Business Intelligence
You are:
Methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and have ability to work independently in a challenging and changing environment but still able to be a team player with a positive attitude
Eager to proactively challenge and improve processes
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
