At Greenalia we are seeking for Financial Modelling Specialist to join our green team ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:The Financial Modelling Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of activities aimed at the same objective: analysis of development and financial modelling opportunities in US (working from Spain).KEY TASKS:Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.Collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.Provide active project portfolio management support during all phases of development.Conducting financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities, assess risk, and make recommendations.Preparing comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Assisting in the development of financial strategies, such as capital allocation, cost optimization, and revenue projections.Monitoring financial performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement or corrective actions.Staying updated with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial models.Evaluation and incorporation of risk factors in financial models, including sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis and stress testing.Participating in financial planning and budgeting processes to support strategic decision-making.Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed.QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Undergraduate required. Preference for Financial degree with international experience.> 2 years in IPP, investment banking or financial consulting, with proven ability of building and operating financial models independently.Excellent written and spoken English. Spanish or other languages would be a plus.Proficiency in Excel and experience with VBA.VALUABLE:Knowledge of renewable energy sector.Certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA).Driver's License.DESIRABLE SKILLS:Negotiation and project management skills.Problem-Solving Abilities. The candidate will be able to identify issues or challenges in financial models or data analysis and propose creative solutions.Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Attention to Detail.
