The main activities of work are: support the daily financial management of the assigned business unit to manage business finance activities.The candidate will analyze, prepare and execute the financial processes necessary for the financial viability of the projects including: (i) assist in the assessment of the financing alternative and conditions to determine the adequate financial structure of the projects, (ii) contribute to the contractual implementation of the selected source of financing, (iii) support the management for determination of the necessary interest rate and currency hedges, (iv) preparation and reporting of the covenants associated with project financing, (v) preparation and monitoring of project cash flow forecasts, and (vi) preparation of internal and external presentations and reporting.Main AccountabilitiesSupport the EU Finance Direction to implement and manage the appropriated financial structure of the projects/companies:Support in the definition of the potential funding scenarios and develop sensitivity analysis; highlighting impacts in terms of profitability using excel-based financial models.Develop specific skills in financing solutions adopted in different platforms and engage the local teams in new projects.Follow-up on the project's finance structure evolution at various stages.Responsible for supporting the scheduling activities related to the financial area.Maintain updated relations with financial institutions and negotiations with financial institutions and other entities.Assist with gathering and presenting necessary information required by the shareholders.Ensure the general financial management of each assigned business unit:Perform the financial activities based on systems and processes under appropriate internal control.Perform periodically the Cash Flow Forecast, towards an accurate prediction of the assigned Business Units' funding needs.In coordination with the Corporate Treasury Department, supervise, evaluate and approve the cash requests issued by the assigned Business Units.In coordination with the Corporate Finance Department, assist on the required Credit Support for the Projects.Monitor and report on financial performance, namely in relation to financial liabilities and assets.Liaise with other departments on a range of issues.Other duties as assigned.Required ProfileAcademic Level:Bachelor in Finance or Economics; MBA preferred.English: C1 or equivalent.Required Experience:At least 1-2 years in the financial/investment/accounting department of a medium or large sized company.Experience in financial modelling.Analysis and presentation skills required.Experience in Project Finance contracts.Ability to work in teams and adapt to various situations.Travel Required (10%-20%).Specific Knowledge:IT systems: Knowledge as an experienced user in business applications, such as SAP ERP, Appian, Power BI.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools and Finance software.Languages:Ability to read, write, speak fluently in English (level C1 or equivalent).Knowledgeable in reading and/or writing Spanish and Portuguese a plus.Skills/Competences:Strong quantitative and analytical skills.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to multi-task and work concurrently on multiple projects.High attention to detail and strong leadership skills.Ability to be self-motivated.Proven ability to learn new software programs.Equal opportunities for allOur vision is that each person combines their unique characteristics and experiences to fulfill our mission of creating new energy for the planet.
