Amazon Vendor Services team (AVS) develops programs to disproportionately grow vendors on Amazon and seeks to continuously enhance its value proposition to vendors. The AVS Expert Service works with Amazon Retail vendors who are facing supply chain defects leading to financial deductions. It provides a dedicated consultative service aimed to identify and sustainably resolve root causes of financial deductions.
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Experts team, who will analyze vendor financial deductions based on supply chain process issues, create comprehensive reports and share results with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have an eye for data, passion to understand and investigate root causes of inaccuracies and defects in supply chain processes. They will have good project management skills, experience interfacing with external stakeholders (e.g. Vendors, Sellers, B2B customers), and relationship trust and influence with internal and external stakeholders. As a Financial Analyst in our team you will support internal and external stakeholders in understanding Retail vendors' financial deductions. You will work closely with Retail stakeholders and Finance teams (e.g. accounts payable, finance operations) to audit and create more comprehensive analysis of their accounts, coordinate the process and facilitate understanding of the outcomes. With your analysis and support you will create better vendor experience on Amazon-wide processes relating to financial deductions, help internal and external stakeholders find agreement on how to find common ground and agree on a path forward.
Key job responsibilities
• Analyse financial and operational defects and identify root causes for financial deductions, define joint action plan on how to resolve critical dispute or hold situations with vendors.
• Facilitate regular progress reviews with vendors to create sustainable long-term results
• Cooperate and build trusting relationship across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization (e.g. Key Account Mgr, Supply Chain Mgr, Finance Mgr, CEO, Customer Service Mgr)
• Work on cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders related new process creation and improvement of your work (e.g. facilitating better communication between teams, creating new tools and efficiency through offshoring of simple workflows)
• Travel within EU might be required for this role
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's/Master's degree
• 1-2 years of professional experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in creating comprehensive analysis for senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Knowledge in MS Office programs as Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in data analysis and project management
• Basic SQL and Advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of supply chain processes
• Fluency in one additional European language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Spanish
