As 1st level of control supporting the Compliance function, you will mainly support Compliance's Management on all AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating Financial Terrorism) related procedures and issues.The resource will also interact with several Departments, from Dealing to Finance, going through Front Office and Settlements.This is a dynamic and challenging job position, which requires attention to detail, determination, adaptability, and desire to succeed.Key responsibilitiesAs a Financial Crime Ops Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for: Completing KYC/CDD procedures during the on-boarding process Carrying out KYC reviews, based on the AML Risk score applied Monitoring daily transactions in order to prevent money laundering activities Assisting internal and external audits Supporting the development of AML and reporting related systems and projects, such as the implementation of new screening processes and KYC tools, or development of onboarding systems Supporting all internal teams for any queries. Essential experience & skillsWe want to set you up for success and we believe these experiences and skills will help you thrive in this role: University degree (preferable Law; Economics and Political Sciences being a valid alternative) 2 - 5 years of experience working in similar roles in banks, payment institutions or financial firms Good knowledge of AML regulation, including recent changes and practical applications (Developing and maintaining risk assessments, practical CDD approaches and knowledge of alerts/monitoring rules) Spanish native speaker with good communication skills and the ability to communicate in English (with Italian as a very welcome plus) Ability to work under pressure Ability to handle, in a fast-paced environment, non-routinely and/or complex tasks Good analytical skills Good organizational skills Good knowledge of the MS365 software package.
