Job Description The primary objective of the IT Controller is to define and maintain a best-in-class analytical financial framework for measuring the IT performance by analysing actual, plan and benchmark data and for preparing sound and meaningful management reports.
The candidate will work in close cooperation with the Group CIO and the IT management team, and ensure optimal interactions with all relevant group functions such as Tax, Group Reporting, FP&A, etc.
Specific Responsibilities: Ensure that Finance strategies & objectives are aligned with the objectives & needs of IT Operations and aligned with the IT Target Operating Model (frameworks, structures, processes and roles) Act as a strategic partner on IT Finance topics to the department leaders, including corporate, Business and Regions: Understand IT activities, challenges and drive alignment across organizational structures Drive financial performance analysis, cost control, budgeting and forecasting in line with strategic and operational objectives Understand strategic initiatives and objectives, validate assumptions of business cases and ensure cohesion across the organization in terms of finance processes and procedures Provide insights and ensure alignment of Controlling KPIs, management reporting and analyses to ensure correct level of transparency to drive informed decision making Provide the Group CIO with required monthly and ad-hoc analysis Deliver efficient monthly reporting to all stakeholders (Projects, Cost Centers Managers) Develop and build on relationships with all key stakeholders for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing finance processes and help define new operational finance strategies Partner with PMO and Digital Projects to ensure structure and usability of IT Project Costing in both Project Management activities and for Financial Reporting and Project Cost Management Ability to define the functional requirements of the IT Finance processes that can be translated for implementation of Service Now, where it brings benefits to IT Operations Drive the strategy and implementation of an efficient and fit-for-purpose IT cross-charging model and process in coordination with other departments (tax, accounting, etc.)
Qualifications University degree (in business, economics or accounting) or equivalent Minimum 8 years relevant financial controlling experience in an international Group Experience of multi-cultural and matrix driven environments Experience working with ERP and financial planning and reporting systems (Oracle and Hyperion preferred) Must have strong computer skills (BI tools, Excel Pivot Table, etc.)
Familiar with international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS) Fluent in English Additional Information Working model: hybrid
