Our opportunity Zurich Insurance is building a strong In-House creative agency, which will be the preferred destination for executing the Group customer strategy, delivering creative concepts, Experience and Service Design, including channel orchestration and measurement capabilities.
In your role, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within Creative Studio.
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and business leads, providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support Creative Studio's growth and profitability.
This role requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
You will oversee a portfolio of projects, control the budget usage, and monitor the financial impact.
You will also engage with relevant stakeholders for both reporting purposes and ensuring a robust delivery of ongoing projects.

Your role As a Financial Controller - Creative Studio, your main responsibilities will involve: Financial planning and reporting to the parent company of the Creative Studio.
Proposing decisions regarding finance and acting as the main point of communication for the central finance team and Head of Creative Studio.
Working with Head of Studio Operations and the Head of the Creative Studio to ensure financial health, including budgeting, financial planning, and monitoring financial performance.
Working with management on budget preparation.
Preparing monthly (or as necessary) Cash Flows (CF).
Preparing monthly (or as necessary) reports against budget.
Working with Group on tax-related topics.
Preparing and submitting all necessary Group reporting.
Preparation of Annual reports.
Preparation of Board materials and present to the Boards as necessary.
Support the External audit.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Provide transparency on charges sent to internal customers.
Developing and implementing risk management strategies to minimize financial risks.
Participating in strategic planning and contributing to the Studio's financial strategy.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Ensuring compliance with local and global requirements and guidelines.
Driving the adoption and integration of financial technologies and tools to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
Performing other services as determined by the Head of Studio consistent with the foregoing.
Your Skills and Experience As a Financial Controller - Creative Studio, your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Mandatory Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
5+ years' experience in Controlling/FP&A/Analytics in multinational companies.
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
Full proficiency in English and Spanish.
German and other languages are a plus.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
Experience in implementing and managing financial controls and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Proven ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
Solid understanding of financial systems and software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
Power BI, Qlik, or knowledge of other BI tools will be considered an advantage.
Finance experience from a creative agency background combined with corporate experience would be ideal.
Ability to leverage data analytics for strategic decision-making.
Option to work remotely within Spain even up to 100%.
