Job Description: We are currently looking for a Financial Asset Analyst to join our European team in our Madrid Office.
Key responsibilities: Monitor and control the Budget and Forecast of the assigned portfolio of projects.
Coordinate with the other departments to update financial and operational estimates.
Detect risk and opportunities.
Lead Financial reports for the assigned projects in construction and operation, assessment of financial model assumptions and subsequent regular updates of such models for both internal and external (bank) reporting.
Calculate the amounts to be paid by the borrowing entities in accordance with the agreements such as fees, interest (setting of interest periods and reference interest rates applicable to each period), and principal repayments/redemptions; Prepare instructions to make payments, on each payment date, according to the financing agreement.
Calculate covenant ratios (DSCR, LLCR, PDSCR…).
Work with the Loan Compliance analyst to ensure full and prompt compliance with the various undertakings under the relevant Facility Agreement (Information Undertakings, Negative Undertakings, Events of Default).
Owner of semi-annual and annual P&L and cashflow budget for each SPV (with monthly breakdown), coordinate the variance analysis of monthly actuals against budget with the relevant departments.
Control and update the Construction Budget and deviations.
Cash management.
Provide support on the analysis to maximize the total returns for each asset through the analysis of cash flows and identifying opportunities for improved financial performance through cash management strategies.
Qualifications: Excellent work attitude, quick learner, and team player.
Experience in financial forecasting, including cashflow.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks accordingly.
Ability to take initiative.
Strong work ethic, a proactive approach and can-do mindset.
Experience in Renewables Energy Companies, the banking / financial will be a plus.
English level C1.
Italian language is a plus.
