Our Finance and Accounting department is instrumental in supporting our business with the information it needs to make strategic decisions enabling us to do what we do best.We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our FPA team.
You will be responsible for providing critical analysis and insights to help drive business decisions within the Europe South region.What To Expect:Assist providing to key stakeholders business partners robust financial data, interpretation and analysis needed to make informed business decisionsPrepare and analyse monthly financial operating results and variances to forecastPrepare monthly business reviews and communicate with key stakeholders on performance versus budget/forecast to ensure continued alignment with strategic objectivesMaintain a thorough understanding of the expense drivers and trends of the cost centres they support; link these drivers and trends to key business prioritiesCollaborate with other members of the FPA team to produce monthly and quarterly financial presentations for the executive teamSupport the annual strategic plan and budget process, functional reviews and executive management presentations and communicationsDevelop new and/or improve existing reporting tools, e.g., product portfolio valuationResearch finance and accounting issuesExtract and manipulate raw data for analysis or conclusionsWhat We Expect:BS and 3+ years related experienceStrong financial acumen and analytical skillsStrong oral/written communication skills with the ability to summarize large volumes of data into effective key points for a non-financial audienceStrong people skills, including the ability to work in a cross functional environment and communicate with various levels of the organizationAbility to plan and coordinate multiple projects with varying deadlinesIntermediate experience with manipulating data using Microsoft ExcelUnderstanding of ERP systems Planning tools, preferably Oracle HyperionFamiliarity with financial valuation methodsGeneral understanding of Accounting and Finance PrinciplesOperate well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the evolving landscape of priorities and requestsWhy Hologic:Make a tangible difference in healthcare, improving the lives of people across the EMEA region.Thrive in an environment that fosters creativity and forward-thinking.Develop your skills and career in a company committed to your professional development.Enjoy a rewarding package that includes benefits and opportunities for performance bonuses.Hologic is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment where our team members can thrive and contribute to improving women's health.
