Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:ResponsibilitiesProcessing of payments in accordance with the company policyEnsure invoices are approved and processed in accordance with the company policyPreparation of vendor reconciliation statements and following up on outstanding itemsGenerate reports related to Accounts PayablesPerform general accounting activities including reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts.Preparation and review of journal entriesAssist in the Preparation of financial statementsGenerate reports for Technology cost and process journals for accrualMonthly Fixed Assets: Manage the integrity of Fixed Assets records i.E.
Additions, Retirements and any other changesQuarterly Corporation tax CalculationsVAT Returns: Preparation of VATMonthly Inter-company accounts: Review and ensure the accounts reconciles with its respective trading partner and follow up on reconciling issuesAssist in the preparation of Quarterly ReportsPreparation and Review of Balance Sheet schedules monthlyPreparation of the FX Revaluation reports monthlyPrepare Annual IT Consumables and Depreciation budgetReview and analysis of Bank ReconciliationsPreparation of cash flow statementsAssist with the accurate and timely close of accounting cycleAssist with special projects as required and any other ad hoc duties that may ariseTo qualify, candidates must have:Currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification i.E.
ACCA, CA, CIMA, CPAApproximately 3-5 years' experience in a professional environment in a finance/business capacityAbility to understand the expectations of customers and deliver service that meets or exceeds customers' needs within policy guidelinesThe ability to identify and resolve issues that impact the delivery of quality serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA positive, 'can-do' attitude and approach to responsibilities; the ability to assist and support leadership in addressing new challenges and changesStrong teamwork, collaboration, and support skills across different organizational teamsIf you can demonstrate that you meet the criteria above, please contact us as soon as possible.The exceptional EY experience.
