Mission: Our client is seeking a Financial Manager with expertise in the pharmaceutical sector to support the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.
This role involves overseeing financial processes, managing cash flow, analyzing operational data, and providing strategic insights to enhance overall business performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis Supervise monthly management reports and conduct variance analysis.
Offer actionable recommendations to boost efficiency and profitability.
Prepare financial forecasts and annual budgets.
Operational Efficiency Work collaboratively with various teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Optimize processes and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Strategic Financial Management Assist senior management with financial insights to inform strategic decisions.
Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial implications.
Cash Flow Management Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
Oversee annual financial audits and ensure adherence to local regulations and tax obligations.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Business Operations Director, with an indirect reporting line to the Group Head of Finance.
Based in Barcelona, with a hybrid work model.
Initially, the position will be primarily office-based, with a plan to relocate within Barcelona after one year.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably outside of auditing.
Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and reporting, with a solid grasp of financial principles such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
