If this sounds like you, you should join us.About the roleThe Finance Manager is responsible for preparing, analysing, and presenting accurate and timely Business Segments financial insightsto the Senior Leadership Team.
This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, controlling segmental PLs and their cost centres, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and supporting the Reporting team with a number of month-end processes and re-structuring projects.
Responsibilities Own the monthly reporting process for two of our six Business Segments.
This includes the analysing YoY and actuals to budget variances, putting together commentary and controlling all allocated costs.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets,profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
Lead discrete areas of the month end closing process.
Assist in the creation of deliverables for the annual external Group Audit and Group Financial Statements.
Carry out the monthly reconciliation between our ERP(Netsuite) and our BI tool (Tableau).
Own the unit economics reporting process.
This includes normalising COGS figures on a monthly basis.
Lead, together with the General Managers, the business segment budgeting exercise for their corresponding Segments.
Ensure channel PLs are accurate and complete.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
About you High level of written and spoken English.
Spanish is a plus.
Accounting related undergraduate degree and / or training in an international accounting firm / big-four (ideally c.4 years' experience in total).
Good knowledge of IFRS.
Proactive and organised with good attention to detail.
Able to accurately analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues at all levels.
Willing to adapt, learn and pick up new techniques and technologies.
Able to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Great team player who is open to change, new initiatives and one-off projects.
Experience with NetSuite and / or in a fast moving e-commerce or retail business would be beneficial.
