Misión
The Finance Manager will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities such as accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, tax, compliance with regulations, and risk management. He/she will develop financial strategies, identify best practices and ensure standard operations.

Funciones y responsabilidades
- Drive the Financial Planning & Analysis function of the Company.
- Financial control.
- Manage our external accounting department.
- Develop financial models & reporting and provides forecast to the management team.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Follow up the financial situation in the company and proposes actions to improve performance, assist in formulating company´s future direction and support tactical initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts and other financial transactions.
- Forecasting and budgeting process.
- Prepare Competitors Analysis.
- Develop tax strategies.
- Set Financial & Control policies.

Ideally the person has international work experience outside of Spain, especially in London, New York etc. Person needs to work out of the Malaga offices, at least most of his time. Person needs to be willing to work in a startup environment where at the beginning they will have to roll up their sleeves and do the heavy lifting without any person working under them to build our finance department, systems and processes and reports from scratch.
Experiência
Experience of at least 5 years as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, with a consolidated backgroud. Experience in energy company is a plus but not required. Experience in both small and large companies is highly valued. Ensure that all company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation.
Formación
A strong university education from the top 5 universities in Spain is a must. Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics. High education.
