Role Overview:The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing finance, audit, and accounting functions within a project-centric framework, managing a diverse portfolio of 20+ legal entities/Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) associated with each project. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this position requires a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, combined with the ability to navigate various business models inherent in project development, manufacturing, and construction phases.Key Responsibilities:Manage financial operations and reporting for multiple legal entities/SPVs across biogas projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely and accurate financial audits.Develop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into project performance and support strategic decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and procurement professionals, to optimize project profitability and cash flow.Support project financing activities, including debt and equity fundraising, by providing financial analysis and due diligence support.Utilize NetSuite ERP system to streamline financial processes, enhance data integrity, and drive operational efficiency.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in project finance and accounting, and share knowledge within the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced finance/accounting qualification preferred.Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within project-based organizations or the renewable energy sector.Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a project finance context.Proficiency in NetSuite ERP or similar accounting software is highly desirable.Fluent in Spanish; proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the international team.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation time.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement in a dynamic industry.A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and innovation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
