The Amazon Pay Finance Manager should have the ability to influence the decisions and long term strategic of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication and collaboration, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. To lead and guide the business through this change, Amazon Pay Finance team seeks a strategic finance business partner to help business leaders define and execute against the long-term roadmap. This person will strongly support business teams in strategic negotiations with partners thanks to accurate business modelling, will drive both short and long-term investment decisions, such as product innovation (Alternative Payment Methods) and launch (or not), strategic pricing, and resource allocation while also being the owner and guardian of the new business/programs P&Ls.
This is a global/WW role since this new business has be launched in US, EU and also JP.
This role will be office based from either Madrid, Luxembourg, Munich, Milan, Paris or London.
Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Finance Business Partner for Directors on business and programs launches and scale up
- Drive long term growth and profitability of the Amazon Pay business and its flywheel benefits through financial modeling and business case development
- influence the decisions and long term strategic of senior business leaders through smart and accurate business modeling, effective verbal and written communication and collaboration
- support WW Marketing leader and LT team of Amazon Pay
- Support PSP and CSP partnerships and take part and support deal negotiations for PSP and CSP by providing solid business models and recommendations to Amazon leaders
- Support launch of new APMs and programs through PFFAQ and innovating business modeling
- Top to bottom P&L ownership of these businesses and programs, driving profitable volume growth and OPEX optimization
- Collaboration with WW and regional, functional and product teams across Amazon and Partner with peers to ensure CP Finance is a great place to work and grow as a finance professional
- • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Essbase or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making
