The main responsibilities will be to:
Collaborate in the development of the financial strategy and overall strategic plan for the company.
Translate strategies and tactics into their respective financial implications, challenging existing business performance and seeking new business opportunities.
Build strong working relationships with key business stakeholders (internal/external) ensuring clear communication of relevant business information.
Plan and organize the activities of Accounting, Legal, Tax and Treasury to be in compliance with all internal, statutory, regulatory, and Head Office requirements.
Provide analysis and documentation to aid strategic decision making and commercial negotiation to deliver financial results and return on investment.
Ensure an appropriate financial control environment aligned to the local and Divisional DLA, Code of Conduct, and Ethical Policies (working closely with Compliance). Conduct preventative and detective reviews of all financial transactions.
Define and implement financial policies and procedures.
Coordinate and prepare Budgets, Forecasts and 5 Year Plan according to the ELT strategy.
Provide a forecast of performance and implement measures to achieve budget.
Recruit, train and motivate Finance staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree: Accounting or Economy
Significant management experience in multi-national companies at this level
Strong knowledge in general accounting principles
Demonstrated ability to operate strategically as part of a senior management team and analyse in detail where appropriate
Extensive knowledge of local statutory, tax and legal requirements
Experience of working in a matrix organisation
Track record of working to the highest ethical standards
