The City is seeking an experienced leader who will lead adepartment that focuses on internal service, benefit to thecommunity and to the organization as a whole. The FinanceDirector will lead a department that is well managed, wellstaffed, and highly supported within the city organization. Thenew Director must be a strong relationship builder who isapproachable, patient and collaborative.Qualifications:Any combination of experience and training that would likelyprovide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Atypical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities wouldbe: eight years of increasingly responsible management and/oradministrative experience in municipal finance, accounting, or arelated field including five years of management and/orsupervisory experience. Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from anaccredited college or university with major coursework infinance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
