Role Summary: We are looking for highly skilled finance professionals to undertake a range of FP&A and Business Partnering roles supporting the EMEA business. As the FP&A Manager / Commercial Finance Business Partner for EMEA, you will work directly with the Head of FP&A for EMEA, alongside the regional Finance Business Partners to ensure that the region's financial performance is consolidated, reported, and understood. You will be responsible for reporting and communicating regional performance to stakeholders across the EMEA business and to Head Office, and you will work alongside senior Commercial leaders in the EMEA business, offering objective and sound insight, challenge, analysis, and advice on the drivers of the business. You will be an expert at performance reporting; able to build best-in-class financial packages with exceptional analytics and visualization. Additionally, you will have responsibility for all FP&A activities including reporting, forecasting, and headcount / FTE management. You will need to be highly flexible, incredibly organized, and be able to drive and deal with a significant amount of change. You will need to balance getting into the detail to understand and organize the data under your control and elevating yourself to provide strategic direction to the Commercial business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for all financial decision support and advice to the local regional Commercial leadership team - it is effectively the 'Finance director / CFO' of the business area.
The role will partner with the EMEA Pricing Manager on all aspects of local pricing reporting, planning, and strategy.
The role will develop world-class management information and analysis packages, working with other Finance Business Partners in the EMEA FP&A team to create consistency across the region.
The role will be responsible for ensuring that all month-end reporting deliverables are met and ensuring that core FP&A processes across the team are consistent and constantly improved.
The role will forge excellent relationships across the EMEA Finance Business Partners, the EMEA leadership team, General Manager, and all Head office colleagues.
About you:
You will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years post-qualified experience in a similar FP&A / Finance Business Partner role.
You will have had experience of setting up new processes and developing management reporting and visualizations from scratch.
You will be able to demonstrate where you have made a tangible difference by delivering process improvements across a Finance team environment.
You must be able to demonstrate that you have a curious and commercial mindset and be able to analyze and understand financial data and be able to simplify and communicate outputs to non-financial stakeholders.
You will have ideas from previous roles about how Dexcom can build and enhance our reporting to demonstrate that we are following this and identify opportunities.
You will be an excellent, confident communicator, with an ability to simplify messages and influence others.
You will have demonstrated, in previous roles, that you have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to form and develop deep relationships across the business.
You will be motivated, not afraid to make mistakes with a desire to learn and develop.
You will be able to produce multiple key deliverables under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times during certain periods without sacrificing accuracy and presentation.
Preferred Qualifications and Education requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience working in a Finance team, audit, or consultancy.
It is preferred that at least 5 of these years are in a consolidation / corporate reporting / central FP&A role.
Professional Accountancy (ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), Professional Analyst (CFA), or MBA essential.
Travel Required: 0 - 20%
Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
