We are looking for a Finance Business Partner (m/w/d) who loves getting into the detail and implementing strategy.

Main Purpose of Job:Work closely with the business to provide relevant insights into business performance.Support effective financial planning, forecasting and analysis.Provide business expertise into accounting/financial control processes, including support for and interaction with the Front Office and Administrative Team at site.Working with the business to ensure the accuracy of financial data in order to provide timely and accurate reporting that will support decision making.Duties/Responsibilities:Conduct business performance analysis to identify, investigate and understand operational business unit results (e.g. margins, costs, profitability by client and stream) and recommend improvement opportunities.Prepare, challenge and explain accomplishment of budgets and forecasts in coordination with Operations, Commercial and Sales teams, recommend and help implement actions to bring performance back to budget if performance deviates.Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues (e.g. develop business cases for new business opportunities).Prepare CAPEX forms including rationale for the investment and calculation of expected financial return.Drive process improvements in working capital management.Review and ensure the accuracy of period-end financial closings by working closely with the various business functions and providing expertise in financial control and accounting.Compile financial data from a number of different sources (SAP/Site excel data files) and produce meaningful and timely financial reporting that will aid decision making.Play a pivotal role in the integration of the different countries into the wider Tradebe Chemicals Group, working closely with IT and Finance Admin to implement SAP along with other standardized group processes.Experience:Experience in dealing with manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, plant operations and managing multiple projects.Demonstrated ability to "get behind the numbers" and understand key drivers within a business.Demonstrated ability to identify business cases for new opportunities, and the ability to prepare planning models and/or implementation plans for those opportunities with senior management.Experience in implementation and use of financial dashboards/analysis tools.Experience building strong working relationships across different seniority grades.Ability to represent finance with the business and the business with finance.SAP knowledge and advanced Excel user.Skills:Business/Commercial acumen and ability to understand plant operations.Analytical skills to make sense out of large sets of data and identify critical KPI's.Attention to detail and strong financial control ethos.Highly developed budgeting, forecasting and business analysis skills.Ability to manage multiple projects/plants under analysis at a time.Communication skills to provide rounded opinions and clear recommendations.Influencing and negotiating skills to deal with a variety of functions and profiles within the organization.Integrity and judgement.Hands on and proactive attitude to pursue tasks where value for the business can be added.
