Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.As a Finance Analyst / Project Controller, you will provide financial support to the Metals, Pulp & Paper and GMD business lines in Process Industries, Process Automation in Trapagaran, Vizcaya, Spain, ensuring correct control and reporting of projects and financial statements. In this role you will study business performance, including financial modelling to accurately forecast the impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement.This position reports to: Finance ManagerYour responsibilities:Participate in the preparation of financial reporting statements, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.Monitor projects and follow ups, participating in regular project review meetings and coordinating with stakeholders.Accurately and timely publish projects in ABB reporting tools.Analyze business development, proposing required adjustments/corrective actions based on business knowledge.Maintain audit trails and documentation for future internal/external audits as well as government authorities.Ensure timely and efficient communication and interaction with stakeholders to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement.Your background:At least three years of experience in an accounting, financial analyst or project controlling role.Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including SAP and proficient in Excel.Knowledge of Power BI, Ariba and cloud-based solutions is a plus.Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business is recommended.Advanced level of English required.Spanish VISA/work permit is required.Benefits:Wellbeing program.Employee Share Acquisition Plan.Flexible work practices.More about us:
