We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Analyst to join the PLS Commercial Programs team. PLS partners with a wide range of businesses, including airlines, online travel agents, or corporate travel companies to provide travel products to their end customers. PLS's mission is to provide its partners with solutions to fuel their growth and help them win.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will partner closely with the Credit Management Reporting Team and a wide variety of stakeholders across Expedia Group to enable financial insight, deliver meaningful analysis, timely and robust reporting, and project deliverables.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset who is eager to utilize their skills in financial reporting and modeling. You'll be part of a dynamic team, contributing to developing insights that support our business goals.
What you'll do:Support Senior Finance Manager of Commercial Programs in understanding the financial impact of commercial programs and operational issues.Create and maintain financial models to support business casing and performance analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability.Collaborate with the Credit Management Reporting team to develop and enhance financial reports, ensuring clear and actionable insights are presented to leadership.Extract insights from raw data, identifying trends, variances, and effectively communicate these findings through decks and ad-hoc reports.Assist in the development of monthly performance packs for leadership, ensuring data is presented in a clear, concise, and executive-friendly format.Provide ad hoc finance support as and when required.Who you are:1+ years prior experience within a finance function.Strong modeling skills with the ability to analyze raw data and convert it into useful insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail & comfort in being a subject matter expert.Ability to present data & insights in a visually compelling format to finance and non-finance audiences.Highly organized with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple workstreams across multiple time zones.Expert Excel and spreadsheet skills including the ability to work with large data sets.Knowledge of BI tools and data extraction via SQL will be highly beneficial.Expedia is committed to creating an inclusive work environment with a diverse workforce.
