COMPANY PROFILE: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Reporting to the Product support referent, the Field Service Technician will: Support our STSs (Service Technical Specialists) in the daily investigations of technical concerns coming from the field via the THD system.
Do regular field visits working with STSs, Dealers, and Customers to investigate issues, collect data, and provide solutions on technical concerns.
Perform high-level investigations and diagnostic activities on the Agricultural machines.
Test parts and solutions in cooperation with STSs and internal departments.
Support dealers on the most advanced diagnostic and repair strategies.
Write detailed reports on issues investigated and/or tests performed in the field.
Observe and report performances of the units in the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that technical reports are submitted in an appropriate way (THDs and field reports).
Support/work with the STS and internal departments during daily activities.
Support the dealers to increase technical diagnostic skills.
Support the dealers to follow the right process.
Work with Service Zone Managers (SZMs) to investigate product technical concerns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Technical High school or equivalent.
Agriculture, Mechanical workshop background.
Knowledge of hydraulic/electrical/mechanical systems.
At least 2+ years of field experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Spanish - English (is a plus).
Autonomy and flexibility (travel, seasonal peaks).
Travel up to 80% is a requirement.
