Sécheron Hasler Group continues the Swiss tradition of more than 140 years in the field of railway technology.We are one of the world's leading suppliers of electrical and electronic safety components and solutions and traction power supply systems for the railway industry, and also offer solutions for renewable energies, DC networks and other industrial systems.The name Sécheron Hasler Group is synonymous worldwide with Swiss quality and represents a leading reference for state-of-the-art products supplied to the market.With more than 1300 employees worldwide, we are where our customers are, supplying approved products in our customers' countries or markets and providing supply chain and customer services locally.Requirements We're currently searching for a Field Service Technician, with main functions including:Customer Service: Ensuring the efficient performance of services delivered to our customers worldwide.Providing field activities when requested: supervision of installation, testing, commissioning, and training.Executing emergency site interventions.Making repairs at site or at Sécheron's facilities.Executing audits and maintenance jobs.Elaboration of technical reports.Support to Sales and Contract execution:Support to Sales Engineer on substation surveys and permissions to site access.Making repairing quotations.Being attentive to identify new business opportunities: sale of spare parts, repairs, on-site services, modernizations, retrofits, training, and maintenance contracts.Logistics and stock: Support on the management of stock of spare parts and tools.Willing to travel up to 80% of the time.Qualifications Technical degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Technician (or Engineering) or related.Electrical hazards and safety training; Maintenance; Protections and control of electrical equipment.Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, ideally with experience in maintenance and on DC traction substations.Fluent in English and French; any other languages area plus.We have flat hierarchies and direct communication between departments and management levels is encouraged.
