The mission of the S2C2 Field Service Team is to maintain IBA's Cyclotron equipment and systems used in Proton Therapy, an advanced form of Cancer treatment. This customer facing role is an exciting opportunity to become part of a global team of specialist technicians who work together with our engineers to help fight cancer.

Challenges we trust you withAn IBA Field Service Technician's responsibilities will include:
Planning and executing Preventive Maintenance missions to the highest standards in line with the maintenance scheduleExecution of both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks ensuring the highest levels of safetyDelivering detailed reports to colleagues and customersRepair and debug subsystem following documented proceduresTest equipment/systems according to the specifications following documented proceduresSupporting our Field Service Teams in North America and Asia when requiredSupporting Engineers during Corrective Maintenance and Emergency missionsSupporting R&D developments both on site and at our assembly halls in BelgiumSupporting Clinical Operations on our Proton Therapy sitesWhat we valueYou have: Qualifications in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in the maintenance of mechanical, electronic, and electrical systemsGood mastering of English, both in writing and speaking is requiredAdditional positives Experience with vacuum, cooling, or ionizing radiationA valid driving licenseYou live within a reasonable distance from an international airport.And you are: Driven, proactive and a hands-on professionalAble to autonomously organize your work and are eager to take initiativesA team player with very good communication skillsWilling to travel up to 50% of your time primarily at weekendsWilling to work on shifts (night shift is also possible)What we offerAt IBA, we offer a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working with state-of-the-art technology that is transforming patient care through revolutionary proton therapy.
