We encourage development ensuring new experiences and challenges at JBT in order to feed your growth!The Opportunity: Reporting to the South Region Service Manager and being part of the Field Service Technician team, you will install, service, and maintain our equipment to keep it running at top operating efficiency.
On a given day, you may:Conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting in customer facilities.Provide accurate and detailed service visit reports.Create solutions to new technical problems and develop suggestions for continuous improvement.Support installations when needed.Coordinate technical communication flow inside JBT organization.Participate in creating and applying working procedures for service department tasks.Inform of potential improvements and progress.Train service personnel on customer equipment.Respond to technical questions from customers, technicians, and sales force.Follow up on jobs and services provided to customers.Assist sales departments by providing technical information and customer assistance.Why work at JBT: Our focus is finding the right person who can continue to grow together with us and develop the company.
As a person, you are flexible and enjoy traveling and being at customer sites.
You have a lot of drive and are good at working independently as well as in a team.Minimum Requirements:At least 5 years' experience from a similar role or tasks working with equipment as Service/Installation Engineer in Food/Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry or as Maintenance Technician within the Process industry.Strong communication and customer service skills.Able to travel and work flexible hours as the job may require, including weekends.Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision.Experience in using Microsoft Office is valued.Valid driving license.Based in the Barcelona area.We are excited to meet individuals who are enthusiastic about making things happen, take personal responsibility, and appreciate seeing the direct results of their work in the final product.
