We are looking for a Field Service Superintendent E&A (Técnico de campo eléctrico) with a main responsibility in supervising Field Service Electrical & Automation activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems. The preferred location for this position is Bermeo, Spain.
Your role and responsibilities Supervise and execute Field Service Electrical & Automation (E&A) activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems. Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and automation systems on marine vessels. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical and automation issues on marine engines and propulsion systems. Work on-site in new installations (commissioning) and participate during overhauls (marine installations and power plants). Prepare detailed service reports, including findings, recommendations, and actions taken. Provide technical support and guidance to field service engineers and technicians during service operations. Liaise with customers to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure that all service activities are carried out in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements. Requirements for the position Experience from working with 4-stroke engines (Diesel, Gas or DF) and Propulsion equipment (CPP, Thrusters, waterjets). Good knowledge of Written and Spoken English. Experience in Troubleshooting, overhauls and commissioning. Availability to travel (around 80% of the time). Good communication and cooperation skills, especially in multicultural environments. Attention to safety. Experience in team working. Reporting skills. Experience in dealing directly with Clients. Time management and ability to work under pressure.
