Then we have an exciting career opportunity for you. Our team is searching for a Field Service Engineer with skills and passion to install, maintain, and repair IBA equipment worldwide.
As a Flying Field Service Engineer for the Positioning Monitoring System, you play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. You participate in the installation and maintenance of IBA systems, equipment, and technical tools on the Proton Therapy sites worldwide, specifically related to the positioning of the patient (robotic arm) and the associated imaging devices (X-ray & CBCT). You ensure the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and services, becoming a specialist in the latest cancer treatment solutions and representing IBA with your know-how.
Challenges we trust you withYou will help deliver a final, reliable working product within defined timelines that matches quality, performance, and customer satisfaction requirements.You install equipment/systems according to the defined planning, procedure timelines, and operating processes.You debug and report bugs to the Development Team and are in charge of testing equipment/systems according to the specifications.You maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule and repair equipment/systems, taking all necessary actions to solve problems.You train less experienced colleagues to use equipment/systems properly and safely.You document and report interventions and actions undertaken in CMMS, with the required level of details and accuracy.What we valueWe are searching for a hands-on Engineer with an excellent team spirit, eager to learn and willing to travel worldwide.
You haveA Master's Degree in electro-mechanics or equivalent by experience.Proven experience in root-cause analysis and leading large-scale system troubleshooting.Very good oral and written skills in English.Very good communication skills with customers and the IBA team.And you also areA driven, proactive, and hands-on individual.Able to organize your work autonomously and take initiatives.A team player with very good communication skills.Willing to travel up to 60% of your time, including mostly weekends.Willing to work different shift times, when necessary.
