The Beckman Coulter LS Field Service Engineers is responsible to provide excellent support to our customers and maintaining LS instrumentation and systems in hospitals. You´ll work to guarantee constant technical growth of field engineers. You'll be the face of Beckman Coulter to customers and support them, directly impacting patient health and overall well-being.
This position is part of the Technical Support Team and reports to the Technical Customer Support Manager. You´ll operate independently within your geographic territory; however, we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive expert technical support. You'll be classified as a remote worker and be provided with a company car, mobile phone, and laptop. You will be required to travel within the country to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays as needed.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team, supported with a clear Development Pathway program.
Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in key projects to deliver successful installations for our customers that meet their requirements.
Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter LS (Flow Cytometry) equipment.
Support laboratory systems in clinical and research diagnostics, partnering with customers on technical issues and maximizing instrument usage.
Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects.
Provide excellent and efficient support to Beckman Coulter's customers and Field service engineers, along with technical training.
Contribute your IT knowledge to installation projects and internal projects.
Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, ordering parts and adhering to cycle times.
Work closely with our sales and office staff, providing consultancy on preventive maintenance, service contracts, and equipment solutions.
Develop a critical approach supported by DBS tools.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Technical degree (technical engineering, biomedical engineering, instrumentation engineering, electrical engineering or related) and 3 years' experience in IVD.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Interpersonal relationship and problem-solving skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in IVD analyzers and Flow Cytometry Instruments.
